"What an absolutely phenomenal day it has been! A tremendous thank you to Heather Lawless Middleton for her tireless efforts in making history as the first in Michigan school to complete a Youth Hunters safety course and field day. Her dedication and passion for empowering our youth are truly inspiring. Yesterday, she had the privilege of signing 34 youth hunter safety course and field day certificates, a testament to her hard work. We're also deeply grateful to our incredible sponsors who generously donated gift certificates for each child to acquire their first hunting license. Kudos to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources for delivering an outstanding presentation. And, of course, heartfelt appreciation to the Cass City Gun Club and its members for their selfless service, wonderful company, and delicious lunch. Here's to wishing these young hunters a future filled with adventure, skill, and safety - it was truly a great day to be a RedHawk. Thank you to our sponsors Cass City Hardware, Scott's Quik Stop, and Wild John's." Story & Photo Credit: Michelle Dilsaver
